Go directly to ER

  • Respiratory distress
  • Rectal temperature ≥ 100.5° in baby <60 days old

Same day appointments

  • Wheezing/trouble breathing
  • Fever and dysuria
  • Persistent vomiting and diarrhea (if not tolerating any liquids and there are concerns of dehydration)
  • Acute onset of pain, including ear

Within a few days

  • Constipation (true constipation defined as hard stools, and not improved by age appropriate recommendations)

Within a month

  • Bedwetting
